Beat the Back to School Rush

The last two weeks of July and the whole month of August are often seen as the quietest time of year in the property industry.
As a vast proportion of the UK’s population make a dash to the coast or jump on a plane to chase the sun the market goes quiet.
Many people thinking of selling their homes wait until September before calling in agents to give them valuations.

However, there’s a very strong case for making plans for your property while the sun shines and before the back to school rush.
We always recommend people call us in before September. Why? Well to get your property ready for market isn’t a five minute job.
To do it properly, like we do at Moginie James, takes a little bit more time. A professional photographer needs to visit and capture your home in its best light.
Floor plans and accurate descriptions need to be drawn up and uploaded on the all powerful property portals. Interested buyers on our database need to be notified. Do all of this before September and your property will have an edge.
