MJ supports Guide Dogs Cymru

Take a look at our ‘meet the team’ page and you’ll see Ted, a former guide dog puppy, is listed as our Head of Pet Relations and appears alongside members of the senior management team, complete with his own headshot and email address.
The quirky idea was the brainchild of our director Nick James and his wife Sheila, who rehomed the puppy when he was withdrawn from guide dog training earlier this year due to lack of confidence.
“Ted is fantastic and has changed our lives,” said Mr James. “We always had labradors as a family and we know the breed very well.
“His original guide dog name was Tyson, but people didn’t like it, so we changed it to Teddy, or Ted for short. He has taken to his new name.
“Ted comes to work every day and is based at our head office in Cardiff Gate, but also visits the branches in Pontcanna, Roath and Cardiff Bay. I take him out morning and evening, so he gets lots of exercise, and the staff love him.
“He has a bed in the office, another in the car and two at home. He also has his pet passport, so he can come with us on holiday to France.”
Pet-owning clients of Moginie James can soon expect a special gift on completion day - a card from Ted wishing them well in their new home.
