Pontcanna and Canton , judged as one area in this poll, made the top 20 in Travel Supermarkets UK Hip Hang - Out Neighbourhood Index – number 13 actually! These areas have become known in recent years for their independent businesses, the café style living and a great alternative to a night out in the City Centre! Apparently the aim of the list is to let city breakers know where the locals  like to hang out.

We at Moginie James are totally in agreement with this poll which is why we decided to open our most recent Branch there back in 2014 and we hope that it will put Pontcanna and Canton even more on the map and encourage more visitors to the area – two of the staff in our Pontcanna Branch also live in Pontcanna and they both said they love the diverse nature of the area and the mix of culture and businesses in the area.
