Cardiff is Booming!

With there being an estimated 5000 hotel rooms in Cardiff, yet so many world-class events now taking place in our city, servicing the demand of visitors to Cardiff hasn't been an easy feat historically.. at least, not until Airbnb came along!

To put the demand into perspective, you might be interested to know the capacity of our sporting, cultural and music hubs; Cardiff City Stadium - 33,280 capacity | Principality Stadium - 74,500 capacity | Millenium Centre - 2,497 capacity | Motorpoint Arena - 7,500 capacity

So, is it really any little wonder that Airbnb in Cardiff is booming?

We've been keeping an eagle eye on the growing short-term lettings market in Cardiff and have watched the significant growth taking place over a short amount of time - According to AirBNB and Homeaway, two of the largest holiday letting platforms, in 2016 there were just 854 holiday lets available, which increased to 2,958 in 2019 and is continuing to grow. The demand is certainly there yet still remains under-serviced.
