We currently have an opening in our Roath Branch for a Lettings Consultant 


The successful applicant must be hard working, reliable, positive and extremely self -motivated. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with fellow team members are essential and you must be able to work well in a pressurised environment. Previous lettings experience is absolutely essential.


The role involves being customer facing, carrying out rental viewings, meeting and greeting applicants and registering clients for suitable properties. You will be actively involved in dealing with enquiries –phone, email leads and walk in - promptly giving feedback to clients after viewings, negotiating offers and completing offer forms, and consistent data cleansing.  




Other duties include;


  • Managing inventories and relevant safety certificates for new student tenancies

  • Managing ‘Change Of Tenant’ processes  

  • Managing Student tenancies from date of confirmation through until key collection ( including collecting the relevant documentation, liaising with both the landlord(s) and the tenants, drawing up the tenancy agreement, collecting initial rent & bond payments etc)

  • Assisting with Sales enquiries when applicable

  • Assisting with Maintenance enquiries when applicable


Passionate about property, you’ll be hungry for success, focused on targets and completely at ease with the nuts and bolts of selling houses and have a very good knowledge of industry regulations. You will have a professional and personable approach and you will also share in our commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer service. Your hours would be;


-         Monday – Friday 8:45 am – 5:30 pm         


-         Alternate Saturdays -  8:45am – 5pm (when you work a Saturday you will be provided with a day off in the week).
